Illinois State Rifle Association Range

The Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) owns a range located at 1589 North 7000 West Rd in Bonfield Illinois. Bonfield is located west of Kankakee Illinois. The ISRA Range is made up of 11 ranges. Range 1 is a conventional 50 yd. pistol range. Targets may be placed from 4 yds. to 50 yds. The firing line is covered. Range 2 is a conventional 50 Yd. pistol range. Targets may be placed from 4 yds. to 50 yds. The firing line is covered. Range 3 is a 200 yd. and 300 yd. rifle range. This range is equipped with 5 bench rest tables and pits.The firing line is open. Range 4 is a 100 yd. bench rest range. It is equipped with regulation bench rest tables. The firing line is covered. Range 5 is a 100 meter/yard rifle range. This range is equipped with movable shooting tables. This range is available for position shooting. The firing line is covered. Range 6 is a shotgun range and equipped with two clay bird throwers for shotgun practice. The firing line is open. Range 7 is an archery range. The firing line is open. Range 8 is a 25 yard training range and may be used for classes. The firing line is open but will be covered in the future. Range 9 is a 25 meter/yard training range and may be used for classes. The firing line is open but will be covered in the future. Range 10 is a 25 meter/yard training range and may be used for classes and concealed carry qualification. The firing line is open but will be covered in the future. Range 11 is a 25 meter training range and may be used for classes, training and club competition. The firing line is open but will be covered in the future. The ISRA range also includes a picnic pavilion and a rest room building. A new Clubhouse is equipped with handicapped accessible restrooms and other amenities.
