SK KOZARA

Shooting club Kozara is the oldest and most successful shooting club in Banja Luka and was founded back in 1981. In addition to earlier competitive activities that were based on the use of small caliber arms, in 2022 the Club joins the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) based in Texas, USA, as the first club to engage in this discipline in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The IDPA shooting discipline is new in this region (although it has existed since 1996), and it is based on the safe handling of weapons, with the scoring of the competitor's speed and accuracy. It is suitable for many categories of the population: civilians (men and women), military, police and even for disabled persons (adapted rules and equipment). Our shooting club conducts various trainings related to the safe use of weapons, as well as IDPA seminars for new members and competitors. Our Safety Officers are at the very top in terms of the quality in the region, proven in many international matches. In our Club, friendship comes first. Discrimination on any basis is strictly prohibited.
