Oulun Yliopiston Metsästäjät ry (Oulu University Hunters) is one of the northernmost IDPA clubs in the world, with three months of summer (when the sun practically does not set) followed by nine months of winter (with almost no sunlight around New Year). Our club hosted the inaugural IDPA Finnish Championships (a sanctioned match) in August 2012. We have 2 sanctioned matches yearly, IDPA Arctic Open in March or April and Midnight Sun IDPA Match in June or July.
