Deep River has primarily been a first-class Sporting Clays facility and shooting school for over thirty years, located within 30 minutes of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and Pinehurst, NC. Several years ago Deep River added an outdoor handgun range called the Shooting Pavilion. Open to members and their guests, the Shooting Pavilion provides for target shooting with any caliber handgun or with a 22-rimfire rifle. To enhance that experience, IDPA club-level matches are offered on the 4th Saturday each month (except November and December).
