About this match
The Range at True North is a cornerstone of competitive shooting history in the Southeast. As the longtime home of the fabled Carolina Cup, this facility hosted major IDPA matches for two decades, regularly drawing elite competitors from across the globe. Following the wildly successful return of the North Carolina State Championship in 2026, True North is once again activating its deep institutional memory and world-class layout to host the state's premier sanctioned match. We are proud to partner again with OA Defense as our returning Presenting Sponsor for the 2027 championship.
